The New Orleans Saints have had some inconsistent play at punter this season. Lou Hedley struggled to open the year, but he's been much better in the second half of play.

A former Saints punter is dominating. Even at 37 years old, Thomas Morstead is amongst the best boots in the NFL.

Currently, Morstead leads the AFC in 2024 Pro Bowl voting.

Morstead was a fifth-round pick by New Orleans in the 2009 NFL Draft. This is his 16th year of action in the league. He now punts for the New York Jets.

Morstead is averaging 49 yards per punt. He has 33 punts downed inside the 20-yard line, one of the most important aspects of a punter in today's NFL.

The former Saints punter was a fan favorite during his time in black and gold. He averaged 46.5 yards per punt in twelve seasons with the team.
