Saints Agree To Terms With Wide Receiver Who Is St. Augustine Grad From Gentilly
USA TODAY Sports

The Saints have agreed to terms with their second wide receiver in the past two days, signing New Orleans native in Stanley Morgan Jr. He went to St. Augustine and attended college at Nebraska.

Morgan Jr. has been with the Bengals since going undrafted in 2019 and turns 28 in September. He's appeared in 51 games over the past several seasons, playing in three matchups last season against the Bills, Texans and Browns. He's known more for his contributions on special teams and will compete for depth. He has an outlook like Lynn Bowden Jr.

New Orleans added Cedrick Wilson Jr. to the roster on Thursday, and with the addition of Morgan Jr. it gives the team five receivers. More signings are expected, and the team could also add in the draft. They'll have as many as 9-10 receivers to compete in training camp that will be under the guidance of new position coach Keith Williams.

Hunter Renfrow remains a very appealing option to consider after being recently released, and New Orleans still needs to find their possession receiver with Michael Thomas out of the mix.
