It's not yet known if anybody was injured at the venue. The New Orleans Fire Department responded to the scene.
When asked if the integrity of the building was threatened by today's fire, Doug Thornton said, "No." He added they are conducting a full damage assessment now. https://t.co/FJ5TKpRRR0

The Saints "hosted" the Green Bay Packers at TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, in Week 1 of the NFL regular season after they were displaced because of the hurricane. While New Orleans won that contest 38-3, the club suffered a disappointing 26-7 loss at the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday.
The Saints play at the New England Patriots this coming Sunday and are currently scheduled to welcome the New York Giants to the Superdome on Oct. 3. There's no word if Tuesday's events will alter New Orleans' schedule through the first Sunday of next month.
