The NFL Salary Cap will be friendly in 2025.

According to a Wednesday report by ESPN's Dan Graziano, the NFL has informed teams of the new salary cap number in the range of $277.5-281.5 million. For the New Orleans Saints, it's great news.

The NFL today informed teams that the 2025 per-team salary cap will fall in the range of $277.5 million to $281.5 million, way up from last year's $255.4 million. Cap will have increased by more than $53 million over the last two years.

Naturally, this is great news for other teams as well, as they will have a lot more money to spend going into free agency. This will put the Saints around $48 million over the cap, but the final figure is not yet finalized.

Tracking Kellen Moore's New Orleans Saints Coaching Staff Hires

We previously looked at the top cap hits for New Orleans earlier this month, with 10 of the players accounting for $175 million. The Saints will have to do some maneuvering to get in compliance, with many player restructures expected. However, the biggest question is what they'll do with Derek Carr. That's a big decision on the hands of Kellen Moore and Mickey Loomis that should hopefully get some clarity on soon.
