The New Orleans Saints just made the biggest trade of the trade deadline day so far. They're sending a four-time Pro Bowler to the Washington Commanders.
New Orleans just dealt their top cornerback, according to multiple sources. The return is a big one for the black and gold.
The Saints will receive the Commanders' third round pick, fourth round pick, and New Orleans' own sixth round pick from the John Ridgeway trade. The Commanders will receive Lattimore and the Saints' fifth round pick. All of those picks are in 2025.

New Orleans gets:
-Washington 3rd-round pick
-Washington 4th
-Its 6th back from the John Ridgeway trade
Washington gets:
-Marshon Lattimore
-Saints’ 5th-round pick https://t.co/FzvXHDrBt8
This haul is an impressive one for New Orleans. Many times, veteran cornerbacks do not garner a third round selection plus more. In this instance, they were able to get exactly that from an NFC foe.
