The New Orleans Saints are widely expected to attack the offensive side of the ball in round one. General manager Mickey Loomis even hinted towards that during a Tuesday press conference. He said that this year is a good one for offensive players in the draft.

The Saints GM also addressed a major topic regarding the defensive side of the ball for New Orleans.

Loomis did not close the door on trading star CB Marshon Lattimore.

Loomis also noted that he does not like trading contributors. At the same time, he made it clear that no one is off the trading block completely.

"Everybody is tradable. It depends on the offer you get." -- Loomis

Loomis originally said that he was confident in it when asked if he expected Lattimore to be on the Saints in 2024. He quickly walked that back a bit, as he was just trying to push by the question originally.

For the Saints, they should not move Lattimore unless a first-round pick is involved. He's a top ten player at one of the most important positions in the NFL. When healthy, he is elite and changes the Saints defense dramatically.

We will see what Loomis and co. do in regards to their top defensive back over the next couple of months.
