The New Orleans Saints are adding another quarterback to the mix. Their QB room grew by one on Tuesday, as Ben Dinucci joined Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener on the depth chart for New Orleans.
The veteran quarterback made the announcement himself via X/Twitter. He gave the inside scoop before NFL insider could jump on it.
I have fun news.

I signed with the Saints this morning.
Source - myself (fairly credible).
Derek Carr suffered a fractured left hand in the team's Week 14 win over the New York Giants. Interim head coach Darren Rizzi said that they won't put Carr on injured reserve yet, as he could return sooner than later.
That being said, he is more so considered week-to-week, so there is certainly a chance he misses a good chunk of the rest of the season. New Orleans has just four games remaining.
DiNucci entered the league as a seventh-round draft choice of the Dallas Cowboys in 2020 out of James Madison. He spent his first two years in the league in Dallas and started one game for the team during his rookie season. In his lone start in that Week 8 game against Philadelphia, the then-rookie completed 21 of his 40 passes for 180 yards and two fumbles. -- CBS Sports
It is expected that Haener or Rattler will get the start in Week 15 against the Washington Commanders. If that's the case, DiNucci will probably just serve as the third QB (emergency option) for the Saints this weekend.
