Saints veteran proves that he's a potential All-Pro in win vs. Bears

Everyone knows New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore. He's a superstar. Another defensive back is emerging in The Big Easy, though.

Paulson Adebo is making a name for himself this season for the Saints. After a strong performance in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts, Adebo outdid himself in Week 9.

Against the Chicago Bears, the Saints CB had a career day. Adebo had two interceptions, forced a fumble (recovered it, too), and three passes defended.

In short, Adebo was lockdown, and the Saints needed it. Both he and Lattimore had strong games, especially in the second half when the Saints slammed the door shut on defense once again.

He should win NFC defensive player of the week - easily. His Week 8 performance against the Colts did not quite earn that, but his Week 8 dominance certainly should.

More than that, he is placing himself in All-Pro/Pro Bowl status for this year. Playing opposite Lattimore, teams can sometimes try to attack Adebo consistently. It hasn't been very effective this season, and he is playing the best football of his NFL career.

Keep an eye on Adebo over the second half of the season. If he continues this type of play, he will jump into the conversation as an elite CB in the NFL.
