It is tough to breed a winning culture while you pile up losses. The aspect of garnering fan support also become tougher without any sort of noted success or light ahead in the future. For the New Orleans Saints, it is a difficult truth to face that their home field advantage and raucous fandom isn't quite what it has bene in seasons prior to begin the Kellen Moore era.
It was crystal clear to anyone who tuned in. The home bleachers in New Orleans were not nearly as gold as the Saints would have hoped in Week 2 against the 49ers. Rather, many fans of the team from San Francisco were in attendance and rooting against Cam Jordan's team. The players took notice and understand their mounting losses don't make it easy on fans to show up and show out.
“We got to figure out how to give the city more hope and hopefully that never happens again.” -- Cam Jordan on opposing fans being loud during loss to 49ers

The dome has always been a place where the Saints' advantage has been strong. That's been the case for quite some time, with New Orleans' fandom dominating the ratio of cheering in the building. As of now, that sort of help for the team on the field isn't nearly as realistic. As deflating as it may be for players, fans just reach a bit of a breaking point.
Jordan's comments weren't frustrated with the fandom. Rather, he was disappointed with the team's performance and lack of success to give fans a reason to cheer. The Week 2 performance was a step forward from Week 1, which was also a home game for New Orleans. The loss to the Arizona Cardinals had a lot more mistakes and less success on offense.
Now, the Saints head on the road for two straight games. We will see if they can do what either of these first two opponents have done to them. It won't be easy, whatsoever.
