Saquon Barkley made a play that won Sunday's game for the Giants and may have lost it for people rostering him in fantasy football.
Saquon Barkley has slid twice on this drive. Had a touchdown, but gave himself up at the 2.

Saquon Barkley is squarely in the MVP discussion and that play, getting the first down and then sliding, might have been his best of the year. #Giants

Saquon Barkley does not care about your fantasy football team

With less than two minutes, Barkley took a handoff and had a clear path to the endzone. While the six points would have been great for fantasy football players, for the guys on the field he made the smartest play possible.
A score would have put New York up 30-20 (pending the extra point attempt) and given Baltimore the ball with one minute and 17 seconds left and two timeouts. While surely a longshot to win, the only way the Ravens could win is if they gained possession.
Instead, Barkley slid down at the 2-yard line. The Giants were able to run out the clock without giving the ball back to Baltimore. The Giants won 24-20, and the fantasy team's rostering Barkley perhaps on the losing end.
Barkley's wise play made it known where his priorities lie.
The Giants are 5-1 and the biggest surprise in football. They'll look to continue their brilliant season at the Jaguars (2-4) next Sunday.
