Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has had a season to remember in his first year with the team. After setting the Eagles' single-season rushing record, amassing over 2,000 yards, and scoring three touchdowns in the NFC Championship Game to propel his team to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, Barkley took a moment to reflect on the significance of the victory.
With the win securing their spot in the big game, Barkley shared a heartfelt moment with his family, who were all in attendance. He described the experience as "special," highlighting how meaningful it was to share the achievement with his loved ones.
“You know, that makes it more special." Barkley said. " In the NFC Championship Game, to be able to win that game and have confetti fall down while you’re with your family—it’s something you don’t take for granted,” Barkley said. “I’m there with my daughter, my fiancé, my son, my mom, dad, brother, and sister. Those are the people who’ve been with me this whole time, so hopefully we can create another special moment in the Super Bowl.”

Barkley has never experienced a moment like this. After being drafted second overall by the New York Giants in 2018, he spent six seasons with the organization, securing just one playoff victory during that time.
Now, he’s set to appear in his first Super Bowl after having the best season of his career. However, standing in his way is the Kansas City Chiefs, who are aiming to make NFL history by becoming the first team to win three consecutive Lombardi Trophies.
