Saquon Barkley shares his favorite Nick Sirianni quote that's gotten the Eagles all the way to the Super Bowl

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni loves to throw around motivating quotes but there is one that really stuck with running back Saquon Barkley this past season.

Barkley revealed exactly what that quote was during the opening night of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

"One of my favorite quotes that he makes all the time is, 'You can't be great without the greatest of others,' and that's how it works," Barkley said. "So we have a great team, but we all want to do it together, and that's the reason why we've been successful, and it's going to take everyone again this Sunday."

It didn't take long for the Eagles to unlock their team identity in 2024, which revolved around their ground game starring running back Saquon Barkley.

But while Barkley was and is the face of Philadelphia, it took every single player in the lineup working as a team to make it this far.

From the Eagles' offensive line creating lanes for Barkley to quarterback Jalen Hurts using his dual-threat abilities to give the offense another look and let the star of the show rest his, and of course, the defense getting physical on every down. All of those elements wrapped up in a bow are how the Eagles made it this far.

Now, Barkley and the Eagles must copy and paste what they did all season long on Super Bowl Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

That won't be too hard for Barkley, who has taught himself a perfect balance between staying locked in and going with the flow.

"When you get to this stage and get to the playoffs, you know, it's win or go home. So that's kind of the mindset right there," Barkley said. "And you just try to stay locked in and get into your flow and your flow state. And that's been the challenge for me, and this is this playoffs. And what I'm gonna try to continue to do in my career is how often can I get in flow, and how I'm able to stay in that flow mindset and to be able to take over games."

But until it's time to really lock in, however, Barkley plans to soak up being at his first Super Bowl.

"Yust gotta take it all in. This is part of it. You gotta enjoy it," Barkley said. "So I'm happy to be here, happy to have conversations with you guys at the same time. You know, it's a business, and you stay locked in. But today you enjoy, you enjoy the moment. Have fun with it. ... Hopefully, we could create another special moment."
