NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that the kickoff for the October 12 Week 6 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been moved from 10 a.m. PT to 1:25 p.m. PT (4:25 p.m. ET). The original early slot will now feature the New England Patriots vs. the New Orleans Saints.

CBS is set to broadcast the game, marking their first 49ers broadcast of the 2025 season.

San Francisco is coming off a 26-21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, dropping their record to 3-1. The team has a short week to prepare before embarking on a two-game road trip, starting with a Thursday night clash against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.

The 49ers previously played an early 10 a.m. PT game in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. With Week 6's early game removed, only three more 10 a.m. PT kickoffs remain on their schedule: Week 8 at the Houston Texans, Week 9 at the New York Giants, and Week 13 at the Cleveland Browns.

San Francisco's next home game is scheduled for October 19 against the Atlanta Falcons.
