That Aaron Rodgers free-agency soap opera that has garnered attention all offseason could be reaching a final act.
NFL insider Adam Schefter made an appearance on ESPN Milwaukee to talk about the former Green Bay Packers Super Bowl MVP and his presumed next destination.
"My guess is he's gonna wind up going (to Pittsburgh)," Schefter said, which doesn't stray out of the ordinary, prediction wise.
His next quote refers to a timeline for this decision, something we've all been traveling towards but seemingly have never gotten close to.
"I think that we've heard Art Rooney, the team owner, say he expects Aaron Rodgers to sign there, and they have mandatory minicamp June 10th to the 12th. So, I would think that Rodgers is on the table here in the next week or so."

Rodgers, 41, has been expected to want to avoid preliminary OTAs at this stage of his storied career, despite him heading to a new team.
The Steelers would have loved to get Rodgers into the building sooner than this so he can get acclimated with his new organization and teammates, but he is technically still free to be on the market for now.
As we know, the future Hall of Famer isn't one to follow the path most traveled, leading to a drawn-out decision process.
Earlier this offseason, Rodgers stated he was taking time away from football and focusing on issues in his personal life, despite being spotted at various events like the Kentucky Derby and a concert.
These off-the-field matters were confirmed as Rodgers talked on Joe Rogan's podcast about how a family member's cancer diagnosis, among other things, has cut into his focus on his career.
"I've figured it out the last year when I've been in the weeds with these people who are close to me that have cancer," Rodgers said.
"I'm in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments I have made. I have a couple of people in my inner, inner circle who are battling some difficult stuff. So, I have a lot of things that are taking my attention."
Soon to be on Rodgers' mind is the NFL calendar that is approaching mandatory OTAs, and thus a deadline for him to decide on his next team.
If Schefter's update holds, Rodgers is aware of this timeline and could finally put an end to the Steelers' finger tapping.
