Seattle Seahawks fans might be in for a long season.

Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner are playing for different teams now and their spots in the franchise will be difficult to replace.

With Wilson gone, the team has no solid succession plan at quarterback.

For now, they have Drew Lock, Geno Smith, and Jacob Eason on their depth chart.

None of those players will entice more fans to buy tickets and watch the games live.

Eason is an unknown talent while Smith had his opportunity to start for the Seahawks last season when Wilson injured his finger.

While he had some modest success, his presence under center just made the 12th man miss Wilson more.

Meanwhile, Lock was part of the trade that brought Wilson to the Denver Broncos.

He couldn’t lead the team’s offense to a postseason berth even if they had Javonte Williams, Melvin Gordon III, Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and Jerry Jeudy.

It’s also not a sign of assurance that Lock lost the starting job to Teddy Bridgewater.

But even then, one Seahawks fan tried to give an honest take on tennis.

To which the US Open’s official Twitter account made a sick burn.

The fan reacted to the between-the-legs serve of Nick Kyrgios to Stefanos Tsitsipas at this year’s Wimbledon Tournament as “not a sport.”

To which the social media handler of the fourth major tournament on the tennis calendar replied, “not a sport says the person about to watch 17 games of Drew Lock at QB.”

Venting Out Frustration With His Beloved Teams

The US Open happens every year at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows in Queens, New York.

That said, the Twitter handler could be a fan of either the New York Jets or the New York Giants.

Unfortunately, he is also frustrated with how New York’s NFL teams are performing.

Thus, he found the right platform to vent out his anger and ended up posting an iconic response.
