Seahawks reportedly want to address Duane Brown's contract after 2021 season

Seattle Seahawks left tackle Duane Brown is at training camp, but he's not doing any on-field work because he's unhappy with his contract.

Brown is in the final year of his contract and wants an extension that will keep him in Seattle for the long haul. However, it appears his contract situation won't be resolved until after the 2021 season.

According to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, the Seahawks have told Brown they want to keep him, but they want to wait until after the 2021 season to discuss a new contract.

Brown, who turns 36 later this month, is a four-time Pro Bowler and was an All-Pro in 2012. He spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Houston Texans before being traded to the Seahawks in 2017.

The Virginia Tech product sat out six games in 2017 to help force a trade, but it's unclear if the same approach would help him land a contract extension before the 2021 season ends.
