Seahawks sign DT Bryan Mone to two-year, $12 million extension

The Seattle Seahawks have secured a key member of their defensive line for at least the next two seasons.

An undrafted 26-year-old heading into his fourth pro season, Mone's playing time increased to a career-high 396 defensive snaps in 2021 and with that, he produced his best on-field numbers. Mone ended last season with career highs in games played (14), games started (five), tackles (35), quarterback hits (three) and sacks (1.5), while recording his first career forced fumble, and pass defended as well.

Other members of the Seahawks projected defensive line in the fall include former second-round pick Darrell Taylor, Quinton Jefferson and newcomers Shelby Harris and Uchenna Nwosu.
