Seahawks Waive G Christian Haynes

The Seahawks needed a 53-man roster spot after trading for G Quenton Nelson.

Seattle also released TE Josiah Deguara from the practice squad.

Haynes, 26, was a four-year starter at UConn and earned second-team All-American honors in 2022. 

He signed a four-year, $5,802,764 rookie contract that includes a $1,040,192 signing bonus and will carry a $1,582,572 cap figure in 2026. 

In 2026, Haynes has appeared in seven games for the Seahawks and made five starts.
