Seahawks WR Jake Bobo was carted off the field from Friday’s practice with an apparent right leg injury. Seattle HC Mike Macdonald provided an update on Bobo, saying he suffered a serious knee injury that appears to be a long-term issue.

“Our heart goes out to Jake Bobo,” Macdonald said, via Brady Henderson of ESPN. “It seems like it’s going to be a serious knee [injury]. We’re going to get it imaged, but early returns are [that] it looks like it’s a long-term injury. That’s unfortunate.”

Bobo went down after being targeted on a pass near the sideline.

Seattle will place Bobo on injured reserve in the near future.

Bobo, 28, wound up going undrafted out of UCLA back in 2023. He later signed a rookie contract with the Seahawks and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Bobo was in line to be a restricted free agent this offseason when Seattle used the original-round tender for $3.5 million. The Jaguars had signed him to an offer sheet on a two-year, $5.5 million contract, with $4.5 million of that sum guaranteed, but Seattle elected to match their offer.

In 2025, Bobo appeared in 11 games for the Seahawks and caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.
