Sean Payton's Broncos expected to hire former Saints OC Pete Carmichael. Here's his new role. https://t.co/47b1z9LicB via @nolanews
Carmichael Jr. will be a senior offensive assistant for Denver. He was with Payton for all fifteen years in New Orleans. In total, he was with the Saints for eighteen years.
The Broncos also hired a Saints front office member this week. They grabbed Cody Rager from New Orleans' scouting department and promoted him.
Payton continues to pull pieces from the Saints organization. It will be intriguing to see how much Carmichael Jr. affects the Broncos offense going forward.

Joe Vitt
Michael Wilhoite
Joe Lombardi
Declan Doyle
Logan Kilgore
John Morton
Zach Strief
Mike Westhoff
Chris Banjo
Dan Dalrymple
and now Pete Carmichael
The duo of Payton and Carmichael has worked well before. He probably won't be the last Saint to join the Broncos organization with Payton at the helm, either.
