Seattle Seahawks 2025 home and away opponents officially set, which includes a ninth game on the road

With the 2024 regular season officially in the books, the Seattle Seahawks' home and away opponents for the 2024 NFL season have been finalized.

The 2025 NFL schedule won’t officially be revealed until sometime in mid-May, which means we don’t have all the details on dates and times for these matchups. However, now that all the division winners have been determined, the Seahawks’ opponents for the upcoming season are officially set in stone.

Take a look at those opponents and our thoughts down below:

2025 Away Opponents:

• Los Angeles Rams
• Arizona Cardinals
• San Francisco 49ers
• Jacksonville Jaguars
• Tennessee Titans
• Atlanta Falcons
• Carolina Panthers
• Pittsburgh Steelers
• Washington Commanders

2025 Home Opponents:

• Los Angeles Rams
• Arizona Cardinals
• San Francisco 49ers
• Houston Texans
• Indianapolis Colts
• Tampa Bay Buccaneers
• New Orleans Saints
• Minnesota Vikings

Observations:

The Seahawks will play the NFC South and the AFC South in 2025. They will also face the Commanders and Vikings, who, like Seattle, finished second in their respective divisions. The Seahawks' 17th game will be at home against the second-place AFC North Steelers.

There are definitely a handful of tough matchups on that schedule, such as games against Pittsburgh, Washington, and Minnesota. However, neither the NFC or AFC South divisions were very strong this past season. Even Seattle's own division, the NFC West, was pretty middling.  

The NFL's landscape can certainly change drastically during an offseason, so we'll get a better idea of how challenging the schedule will be following free agency and the NFL Draft.
