Seattle Seahawks Add Running Back, Wide Receiver, Ahead of Sunday’s Battle Against the Washington Commanders – Week 10

The Seattle Seahawks have activated a pair of offensive skill players ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Commanders . Per NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Seahawks have added running back Kenny McIntosh and wide receiver Dareke Young to the active roster on Saturday. 

The Seahawks’ DeeJay Dallas remains questionable for Week 10. The RB was a limited participant during practice on Thursday. Meanwhile, McIntosh has been on the injured reserve (IR) since September 9. 

Seattle Seahawks RB Kenny McIntosh: Could Make NFL Debut On Sunday 

Seattle Seahawks rookie tailback Kenny McIntosh has been on the shelf with a knee sprain since the beginning of training camp but will suit up on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. The seventh-round pick will slot behind teammates Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, but he could carve out a role on special teams. 

McIntosh played his college ball with the Georgia Bulldogs, rushing for 1,582 yards and 16 scores in four seasons. He starred as a senior in 2022, accounting for 1,334 all-purpose yards and 12 scores. McIntosh caught 76 passes during his college career.

 Seattle Seahawks: Add WR Dareke Young

Wide receiver Dareke Young has also gotten activated off the IR. Young was a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks and caught two passes for 24 yards last season. The Lenoir-Rhyne product practice fully this week after sitting on the shelf with a groin injury since early September. Young should be considered a depth piece behind DK Metcalf, JaxonSmith-Njigba, and Tyler Lockett.
