College football commitment season is in full swing across the country as prospects in the Class of 2025 continue to reveal their landing spots and that includes recruits out of the WPIAL.

Seneca Valley defensive back Jayden Price announced on Sunday via X (formerly known as Twitter) that he is taking his talents to the Mid-American Conference and the Toledo Rockets.

Price selects Toledo over other offers that included Akron, Buffalo, Lehigh, Army, Yale, Cornell, Robert Morris, Air Force and others.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound defensive back’s size will translate well to the next level. Price thrives in man coverage and uses his frame to his advantage as a lockdown defender that’s able to break up any pass in his area.

During his junior season with the Raiders, Price registered 40 tackles, three pass breakups, one interception and one sack.

Price joins a Toledo program that is familiar with recruiting his high school as Seneca Valley linebacker product Chris D’Appolonia is a rising sophomore with the Rockets.

Toledo is coming off of an excellent regular season in the MAC where the Rockets went undefeated in conference play and 11-1 overall with their only loss coming against Illinois by two points.

The Rockets reached the MAC Conference Championship Game, however, they would fall to Miami (OH), 23-14.

The successful season provided Toldeo an opportunity to play in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl in late December where the Rockets would fall short to Wyoming, 16-15.
