According to Aaron Wilson, veteran RB Dameon Pierce has already heard from seven teams after being released from injured reserve by the Eagles.

The full list includes:

  1. 49ers
  2. Cardinals
  3. Dolphins
  4. Jaguars
  5. Panthers
  6. Ravens
  7. Titans

Philadelphia had placed Pierce on injured reserve with a hamstring injury but that had more to do with a roster crunch than the severity of Pierce’s injury.

After being cut with a settlement, he now has plenty of options. He can’t return to the Eagles until after the settlement expires, which is likely at least four games.

Pierce, 26, was a fourth-round pick by the Texans out of Florida in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was in the final year of his $4,475,432 rookie contract, with an average annual value of $1,118,858, when the Texans opted to waive him.

He caught on with the Chiefs on the practice squad to finish out the season before joining the Eagles in the offseason. Philadelphia re-signed him to their practice squad coming out of the preseason.

In 2026, Piece has appeared in three games for the Eagles and rushed for 96 yards on 37 carries (2.6 YPC) to go along with seven receptions for 14 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
