Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders is still waiting to make his NFL debut.
The former Colorado Buffaloes star is now sitting right behind fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel on the Browns depth chart after Sanders was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
However, with the way Gabriel has played, it might be a while before Sanders sees the field, unless it comes in garbage time. Gabriel went just 13-of-18 for 116 yards but he led the Browns to a 31-6 win over the Miami Dolphins.
While Sanders waits for his opportunity, the young quarterback is making a difference off the field.
On Monday, Sanders announced a special giveaway with Drive Point Auto Group.
"I was BLESSED to be a BLESSING! We’re Blessing somebody that’s deserving with a CAR in Cleveland and nearby city’s ! I’m looking for difference makers in the community so help me find that person that’s always looking out for others but deserves to be Blessed as well. Click link in bio," Sanders wrote on Instagram.
The giveaway includes eight different dealerships in the Ohio area.
Sanders said he “was blessed to be a blessing,” so it's a classy gesture by the young QB looking to give back to somebody in the local area. He also added that he want to help somebody in the community.
Per the official contest rules, participants nominate another individaul and include a writren statement about the individual.
The criteria to select the winner includes several factors, including the nature of the story, need, and other things. Sanders will also be involved in the review process and selection of the winner, so there will be direct involvement from the Browns QB to pick the contest winner.
The winning nominee will choose between a 2025 Kia K4 LSX or a 2025 Hyundia Elantra.
The contest began on October 13 and comes to an end on October 30, and the winner will be announced on November 10.
