There’s been heavy speculation surrounding the Cleveland Browns quarterback room in recent weeks, and with NFL training camp now underway, every rep among the four competing QBs has been under a microscope.
On Saturday, rookie Shedeur Sanders finally got a meaningful opportunity after the Browns were criticized for limiting his reps — even having him throw to equipment staff instead of actual receivers earlier in the week.
According to ESPN Cleveland, Sanders completed 8 of 11 passes for three touchdowns and no interceptions — outperforming every other quarterback in the session. Kenny Pickett had the second best day, finishing 6 of 10 with two scores.
But it was what happened after practice that really went viral. While interacting with fans and signing autographs, Sanders took the time to gather the entire crowd together, motioning them in for a group photo. The wholesome moment quickly caught the attention of the NFL and fans across social media.
"A wholesome [Shedeur Sanders] moment," NFL posted.

Whether or not Shedeur Sanders earns the starting job right away, he’s remained composed throughout the process—pointing to his journey as proof that nothing fazes him.
“It doesn’t really phase me,” Sanders said. “You gotta understand—we came all the way from an HBCU to a Power Five, and now we’re here. So at this point, you look around… there’s nothing that’s a challenge, I’ll say.”
