Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has wrapped up his rookie NFL campaign, and it’s now time for him to look forward to a vacation.
On Monday, the former Colorado Buffaloes star QB revealed one of his early plans in the offseason, which involves some unfinished Christmas business with his brother, Shilo Sanders.
“First and foremost, I have to go see Shilo! ” Sanders told reporters, via Ashly Holder of Cleveland 19 News.
“I heard he has some Christmas gifts for me. Then be with the family, then get back to work.”
Unlike Shedeur, Shilo hasn’t been busy with football for quite some time now. Shilo went undrafted in 2025 and was later signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, he was among the players waived by the Buccaneers during final roster cuts and has not signed with an NFL team since.
As for Shedeur, he made eight appearances under center for the Browns in 2025, including seven starts. His future as Cleveland’s QB1 remains unclear, with Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel still on the roster, though he could make a strong case during the next training camp.
For now, what is important for Shedeur is getting those long-overdue Christmas gifts from Shilo.
In his first season in the pros, Sanders passed for 1,400 yards and 7 touchdowns against 10 interceptions on a 56.6% completion rate.
