Shedeur Sanders watched on as the Cleveland Browns began the 2025 NFL season with a 2-8 record, sitting behind Joe Flacco and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel on the depth chart. But the former Colorado quarterback got his chance in Week 12, starting the final seven games for Cleveland and posting a 3-4 record.

Ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, Sanders was widely projected to be a top ten pick, but slid all the way to the fifth round. But when his name was called upon, Sanders delivered, earning a Pro Bowl nod after completing 120-of-212 passes for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions, adding 169 yards and another score on the ground. However, for his second NFL season, Sanders will be without a key offensive lineman.

Wyatt Teller was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The former Virginia Tech guard spent one season in Buffalo before being traded to Cleveland for 2020 fifth and sixth-round picks. Teller went on to spend the next seven seasons with the Browns, serving as the starting right guard for most of that time and earning two All-Pro selections.

But following the 2025 NFL season, Teller sees his four-year, $56.8 million contract with Cleveland come to an end, becoming an unrestricted free agent. And on Wednesday, Teller decided it was time for a change, announcing that he will not be returning to Cleveland in 2026.

"I wish things were different and this is hard to put into words," Teller wrote on Instagram. "When Buffalo traded me to Cleveland seven years ago, I never could have imagined how much this city would mean to me. Ultimately, the Browns took a chance on me that changed the trajectory of my life forever... While we are excited and look forward to what the future holds, Cleveland will always have a special place in our hearts. As always…Go Browns!"

Sanders quickly took notice of his right guard's announcement, sending a message to Teller in the comments section: ":( gonna miss you bro."

The Browns will potentially look to find Teller's replacement when free agency officially opens on March 11.
