Shemar Stewart's agency has chimed into the contract language fray keeping the rookie off the field this week.

Loyalty Above All, Stewart's agency, replied to former NFL executive Andrew Brandt's false claim on X that Cincinnati is including different contract language for a player picked higher than Amarius Mims.

Cincinnati took Stewart with the 17th pick this year and Mims with the 18th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

"Other way around," the agency tweeted. "Shemar is the higher pick at 17.. they want his contract different even though he is the higher pick.. last year they picked 18.. even more reason."

The standoff continues over roster-bonus/default language in the contract, all while Stewart misses more and more valuable reps entering his first NFL season. Click here for more on the issue at hand in the contract.
