The Sanders family stole the show at NFL honors on Thursday night. It was a star-studded event in Las Vegas with Coach Prime and his sons gathering all the attention as they walked around. Shlio Sanders even told Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank what he required in advance of him entering the 2025 NFL Draft. "No. 21 would be great," Sanders said.

Blank seemed to jump at the opportunity and responded by mistakenly thinking that Colorado's defensive back was entering this year's draft. However, Coach Prime interjected by saying he had one more year with the football GOAT via Well Off Media.

Sanders will try to build off of a career year at Colorado. He racked up 54 tackles, four forced fumbles, three PDUs, and a pick-six in the Rocky Mountain Showdown vs. CSU. He'll bring much-needed experience to CU's secondary as a sixth-year senior.

The trip to Super Bowl 58 festivities was part of an exciting offseason for Sanders. He recently had pinky surgery to correct an injury he suffered last year, which he received quite a response from his father. He also returned home from participating in the 2024 Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter Collection Show in Paris and got to represent Colorado on the world stage. Prior to that, Shilo got to chill with America's best mayor at Loveland Ski Area.

Coach Prime was the fifth overall pick for Atlanta in the 1989 NFL Draft. At the time, he called his own shot by telling the New York Giants he had no interest in taking a two-hour "phone book" test. Because he knew he wouldn't be there when they picked at No. 18. It would be great to see a Sanders (besides Deiondra) in Atlanta again with a mere 36 years apart.

Coach Prime and his sons will return to Boulder and continue offseason conditioning drills next week. They'll be around a new cast of talent with one of the best combined incoming classes over the past twenty years.
