Should Falcons Trade for Eagles' Reddick?
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Falcons are in need of some pass rush help.

With Bud Dupree and Calais Campbell still free agents, the Falcons are down their top two in sacks from a year ago.

While free agency has some options for the Falcons, the trade market has one player in particular who could make sense for the Falcons ... Haason Reddick.

The current Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher is a potential wildcard for the Falcons. After reportedly being given permission by the Eagles to seek a trade back in February, the Falcons could be the one to make the trade happen.

Reddick has made a name for himself as one of the league's top edge rushers, accumulating 27 sacks and 49 quarterback hits in two seasons; he'd be a welcomed addition to the Falcons defense.

However, Reddick would come with a high price tag, given his production over the last two seasons in Philadelphia. That being said, there may not be a player better on the market right now than Reddick. The Falcons have taken big swings this offseason already, so Reddick would simply add to the list.

But given that the Falcons currently have just over $3 million in cap space, the second-lowest amount in the league, a trade for the 29-year-old seems unlikely.
