It has been rare to see the Steelers make a big trade on draft night. But they certainly have the capital to do so in this year's draft, so should they?
It's an idea that should be at least considered, especially because Pittsburgh practically has an extra first-round pick (No. 32) after dealing WR Chase Claypool to the Bears.

The Steelers have a number of holes to fill in their roster this offseason. However, if they have the ability to get two top players at their positions, is it worth giving up some draft capital to go after quality over quantity?
Depending on who Pittsburgh wants and where it would need to trade up to get them, at least two of picks 32, 49, and 80 would likely need to be dealt.
Three names that seem to be consistently popping up for the Steelers are Penn State CB Joey Porter Jr., USC WR Jordan Addison and Georgia T Broderick Jones. All will likely go in the first round.
It will be general manager Omar Khan's first solo draft after Kevin Colbert handed him the reigns following last years draft.
Pittsburgh will obviously need to see how the draft pans out on night one, but it will be interesting to see what Khan's tendencies are and how aggressive he wants to be to put his stamp on the Steelers roster.
