Slo-Mo Video of Mark Andrews' Costly Drop Turns Heads

Mark Andrews had already been experiencing a frustrating night after losing a crucial fumble in the fourth quarter of the Baltimore Ravens' 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.

Unfortunately, the reliable tight end who's been a frequent target for Lamar Jackson since the All-Pro quarterback's rookie debut in 2018, said fumble only served as the precursor for a truly crushing finish for Andrews.

Following a 24-yard touchdown pass from Jackson to Isaiah Likely with just 1:44 remaining, the Ravens dialed up a two-point conversion play—a pass that was quite literally headed directly into the hands of the 29-year-old Andrews:

For the millions of NFL fans who watched this somewhat shocking sequence happen live—all but assuming we had a thrilling tie game on our hands—the slo-mo video of Andrews dropping the ball gives an especially superb, albeit pretty brutal look at the replay.

Regardless of less-than-ideal weather conditions and the high stakes circumstances, this is a pass that Ravens fans probably consider more or less a layup for Andrews to catch at this point.

As shown in the above clip, the throw from Jackson appeared to be right there for the Ravens fan favorite—at least by the standards that Andrews has set—seemingly getting two chances to corral the football as he fell into the end zone.

Watching the football bounce off of Andrews' left foot to complete the truly unfortunate and stunning sequence likely puts this video in the "let's never watch this again" department for many fans of the Ravens.

With the expected mix of disappointment and anger following the loss, things managed to get even worse for the "Ravens Flock" during the postgame as it was reported that Andrews was unavailable to speak with reporters.
