Son of Colts Legend to Visit Indianapolis Ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

Anyone who watched the Indianapolis Colts teams of the 1980’s will remember Chris Hinton.

He was the famous first round selection in the draft where NFL Hall of Famer John Elway refused to play for the team.

Obviously, Indianapolis would have preferred to have the chance to compete in Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos legend, but they didn’t make out too shabby with Hinton.

He made the Pro Bowl seven times during his playing career and was inducted into the Colts ring of honor.

Being an offensive lineman, it’s easy to get lost in the annals of history.

But a recent pre-draft meeting organized by the Colts might make fans think about him a little bit more.

Destin Adams of AtoZ Sports reported that the Indianapolis legend’s son, Myles Hinton, will be meeting with the team ahead of the NFL Draft.

He is an absolute mammoth of a man, standing at 6’6 and weighing nearly 350 pounds.

Hinton allowed just one sack last season with the Michigan Wolverines, but for some reason isn’t slated to be selected until day three of the draft, if he is picked at all.

It wouldn’t be beneficial for Hinton because he would lose out on the money that higher draft picks make.

But for the Colts, it would be a dream come true to add such a talented and physically gifted player that late in the draft.

Indianapolis doesn’t have bad tackles by any stretch, but it’s always a safe bet to add talent behind your starters and a freak of nature.

Only time will tell if Hinton ends up with the Colts, but it would be a storybook ending for him to follow in his legendary father’s footsteps.
