"I'd be shocked if he's there...He's probably one of the best college players I've ever seen...general consensus is (he's) God's gift."

Anderson's report comes on the heels of Carter saying Wednesday that he'd received a promise from the Philadelphia Eagles that he'd be selected by the team with the No. 10 pick if he's still on the board. Thursday morning's news also comes despite the defensive lineman's much-discussed off-the-field concerns.
An arrest warrant was issued for Carter in early March following the fatal January crash that took the life of a teammate and Georgia football staffer. It was reported in March that the 22-year-old was present at the scene of the Jan. 15 crash and later provided "shifting accounts" of the incident to police.
Carter pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and racing in March in connection with the crash.
Carter said in mid-April that he felt the incident would "matter a little bit," as far as impacting his draft stock. Earlier this month he declined visits with teams that are selecting outside the top 10 picks in the draft, after visiting with the Eagles and just before his visit with the Chicago Bears (who pick ninth).
The former Georgia Bulldog is among 17 players expected to attend the draft on Thursday night.
