The 2026 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we've got you covered with in-depth scouting reports for all of this year's top prospects.

Utah's Spencer Fano is one of the top offensive tackles in this year's class, with a combination of size and athleticism that gives him a ton of potential at the next level. He could be the first player off the board at his position, and a possible top-five pick due to multiple teams with a huge need at that spot picking in that range.

Here's everything NFL fans need to know about Fano heading into this year's draft:

Spencer Fano's Vitals

Height: 6-6

Weight: 308

Age: 21

Spencer Fano's Strengths

A highly experienced blocker with double-digit starts under his belt at both tackle spots, Fano has put a ton of quality reps on film against top competition. He’s an impressive overall athlete for his size, and shows ideal instincts and spatial awareness, getting to his landmarks efficiently and staying one step ahead of opposing defenders. He can be a punishing run blocker when he stays balanced and plays behind his pads, and he’s nimble enough to climb to the second level and erase back-seven defenders, doing the same when asked to lead or pull on counters and screens. Fano plays with a ton of effort, often pressing through the end of his reps and finishing strong through the whistle.

Spencer Fano's Weaknesses

Fano has a towering frame, but he’s a fairly high-cut player who can struggle to maintain proper pad level and leverage. His lean build can allow stronger defenders with a heftier base to get underneath and drive him off the ball, exposing a need for added bulk and power. Fano’s inconsistent functional strength is exacerbated at times by inconsistent hand usage and upper body technique, which can prevent him from effectively latching on and staying engaged with his defender through the entire rep.

Final Analysis

There are some things to clean up here, but Fano brings a combination of physical and mental tools to the table that gives him a ton of upside at the next level. If he can improve his strength by adding some quality bulk to his lean frame, and polish his technique, Fano has the potential to be a Pro Bowler at either left or right tackle.
