The New Orleans Saints can't seem to put it all together as of yet under new head coach Kellen Moore. Spencer Rattler remains winless as a starting quarterback at the pro level, but he isn't losing confidence in himself or his team. Instead, he sees a bit of a light at the end of the tunnel for the black and gold.
The Saints starting QB feels like the team is taking steps forward. The offense needs to get off to faster starts to not put themselves on the back foot early in games. That has been an issue to start the season for Kellen Moore's team.

Rattler also feels like the vibes are still high. The players haven't wavered, even though the first two games haven't gone their way in the win/loss column. Of course, there are only so many moral victories to take away if the losses continue to mount for New Orleans.
“I wouldn’t say the vibes are down at all.” -- Spencer Rattler
The second half was a clear improvement on offense for the Saints. They seemed to stay on schedule, and Rattler connected with open targets in the intermediate game consistently. Not to mention, the drop issues that plagued pass catchers in the first quarter were cured by the time they left the locker room to start quarter three.
The Week 2 performance by New Orleans was a step forward, overall. Now, I am not sure they were playing a better team, given the injuries and backup quarterback situation that the 49ers were dealing with in the game. The Cardinals have looked formidable through two contests, but their two matchups have been against the two worst teams in the NFC South so far.
Rattler, individually, looked notably better in Week 2. He looked a bit more comfortable when given time and scrambled on a couple key third down plays when the team desperately needed it. Rattler struggled late in the fourth quarter, but the offensive line did him no favors in crunch time.
