More so than at any point in the recent history of the world, doctors, nurses and other first responders are being hailed as the heroes they are.
These individuals are risking their own well-being to serve the public during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the world.
Selfless. Altruistic. Whatever term we want to use, these individuals are the heroes as we look to flatten the COVID-19 curve and and get back to normalcy.
Part of that normalcy will eventually be returning to live sports. And as the sports world continues to support those most impacted by the virus, they are also taking part in Thursday’s Light It Blue campaign to show first responders the respect they deserve.
Check out the Miami Dolphins’ stadium in South Beach. It looks much different than when the Super Bowl was held at Hard Rock Stadium about two months ago.
Tonight we #LightItBlue in support of health care professionals around the world. We want to say thank you. Thank you for fighting on the front lines against COVID-19. With your commitment, we know we will be back stronger than ever. pic.twitter.com/Z2bAjVnXU9
