Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers got back on track in Week 11, jumping to 6-4 on the 2025 NFL season after a 34-12 win over the Joe Burrow-less Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC North showdown. Not, the Steelers will look to make it two straight wins in Week 12, hitting the road to face Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears.
Rodgers was off to a nice start against the Bengals, completing 9-of-15 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. But late in the first half, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback suffered a small fracture in his wrist, forcing him to miss the rest of the game. Backup Mason Rudolph filled in nicely for Pittsburgh, completing 12-of-16 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown.
As the Steelers prepare for the matchup against the Bears, Rodgers was forced to miss Wednesday's practice session due to his left wrist issue. But he also hinted that the inury isn't too serious, eyeing a return to practice on Thursday.
""Just focused on rehab for a day," Rodgers said on Wednesday. "Will try to get back on the field tomorrow and see how it goes."
Sure enough, on Thursday, Rodgers returned to practice, ruled as a limited participant. This could mean that the 41-year-old will try and play against Chicago. Along with Rodgers, running back Jaylen Warren (ankle) and linebacker Alex Highsmith (pectoral) were upgraded to a limited participant as well after missing Wednesday's practice.
"Steelers listed QB Aaron Rodgers as a limited participant at today’s practice," ESPN's Adam Schefter wrote on X.

The Steelers will face the Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET. But the road doesn't get much easier for Pittsburgh after that as they host reigning MVP Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 13.
