Steelers Announce Color Rush Uniforms
USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers will rock their Color Rush uniforms in Week 14 as they take on the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football, the team announced.

The Steelers are breaking out their Color Rush uniforms for the first time this season as they host New England. The black jerseys with gold numbers and gold stripes will match up with black pants with a gold stripe, looking to add a spark to their AFC showdown.

To add to the environment, fans are encouraged to wear all black, nighting out Acrisure Stadium in a primetime matchup.

The Steelers are 7-2 when wearing their Color Rush uniforms, with their last win coming in 2021 as they defeated the Chicago Bears. They wore the uniforms for the first time on Christmas Day in 2016 in a win over the Baltimore Ravens.

"I love the uniform," tight end Pat Freiermuth told Steelers.com "It's obviously different than our normal one. It's fun to rep. It's fun to wear. It's awesome wearing it running out of the tunnel, especially for a night game. It's so cool to wear it in that home atmosphere."

The Steelers will look to bounce back from their loss to Arizona with a win over the Patriots. And if you live by the saying, "look good, play good," Pittsburgh is giving themselves an advantage.
