Steelers Announce Jersey Numbers for Free Agent Signings
USA TODAY Sports

The newest members of the Pittsburgh Steelers have their new numbers. The team has revealed the jersey numbers for all five free agent signings.

Patrick Peterson will wear No. 20 in Pittsburgh. After tossing out the idea of taking No. 7, he quickly acknowledged it wouldn't be welcomed by fans. Instead, he's wearing the number his cousin, Bryant McFadden, wore during his time in Pittsburgh.

Elandon Roberts and Cole Holcomb will be the new men in the middle of the Steelers' defense, and will dawn No. 50 and No. 55 - the same numbers Myles Jack and Devin Bush wore.

Fans are already awaiting the jersey sales of Nate Herbig after his opening press conference showcased his bright personality and love for the game. Twitter hasn't held back in asking for the Steelers to give them a number. That number is 71.

And perhaps the Steelers' biggest signing, Isaac Seumalo, will wear No. 73. If Seumalo does start at guard this season, he'll bring past memories of Ramon Foster guarding the quarterback's left side.
