"Our heart aches for Miles."
Killebrew suffered a serious knee injury during the Steelers' Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns. He had to be helped off the field before he was carted to the locker room.
Killebrew joined the Steelers ahead of the 2021 season and has been with them ever since. He has played in every regular season game with them up to this point.
His best individual season with the Steelers came in 2023 when he recorded 26 total tackles (21 solo). In five games this season, he recorded five tackles (three solo).
Before Killebrew joined the Steelers, he spent the first five seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions. They drafted him in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Southern Utah.
Killebrew has played in 151 career NFL games, compiling 166 total tackles, a forced fumble, two interceptions and six passes defended.
The Steelers are looking to bounce back from a 33-31 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Thursday. They had a chance to start the season 5-1 but couldn't overcome a poor defensive performance.
They will be back in action this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers (4-1-1). Fans will get to see Aaron Rodgers go against his former team on national television. Kickoff will be at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
