There's been a lot of outside noise following Steelers' rookie WR George Pickens this week. Veteran DT Cameron Heyward hopes it is all in the rearview mirror.
Heyward spoke with what looked to be a frustrated Pickens on the sideline in Week 13. "That happens all the time," Heyward told reporters. "I don’t think we really need to make anything more of it. As a team, you’re there for your guys, and vice versa, they’re there for you."

The end of this saga seems to be coming to an end after head coach Mike Tomlin, fellow rookie QB Kenny Pickett, and now Heyward have all come to Pickens' defense.
The Steelers are fighting for their playoffs hopes and need to put all of their focus on the 8-4 Ravens heading to Pittsburgh this week.
All eyes will still be on Pickens after he was held to one catch for two yards on just two targets a week ago. But if the Steelers want a chance to win the divisional matchup, they should do everything in their power to get their young, talented receiver the ball more.
Heyward has been a leader in the locker room for some time, now in his 12th season with Pittsburgh. His talk with Pickens was nothing out of the ordinary.
"Honestly, it was just being there for a teammate. That’s it," Heyward added. "I’m always going to be there for teammates."
