Steelers LB Still Waiting for Opportunity
USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced their inactives for Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals, including an inside linebacker who will wait to make his debut.

The Steelers have ruled quarterback Mason Rudolph, cornerback Darius Rush, offensive tackle Dylan Cook, running back Anthony McFarland, inside linebacker Blake Martinez and inside linebacker Blake Martinez inactive against the Cardinals.

The Steelers did get a huge boost to their defense this week as Minkah Fitzpatrick returns from a hamstring injury for the first time in five games.

Pittsburgh was hoping to have Montravius Adams back this week after the "light was on" at practice. He started the week as a full participant but was limited the final day of practice and ruled questionable heading into the weekend. He was ruled out just before kickoff.

Martinez will continue to wait on his opportunity to make an impact on the Steelers defense. After signing with the team two weeks ago, Martinez will be inactive for a his game.

McFarland is inactive for a second game with Godwin Igwebuike seemingly jumping him on the depth chart. The running back/kick returner was a surprise inactive last week but appears to be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Rudolph will dress for the game but is unable to play unless Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky are ruled out.
