Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers avoided falling below .500 in Week 5, jumping to 3-2 on the 2026 NFL season after a 34-22 win over Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts. Now, the Steelers will look to make it two in a row in Week 6, hitting the road to take on Jalon Daniels and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Rodgers, 42, had another strong game against the Colts to begin his 22nd NFL season. The former Green Bay Packers Super Bowl quarterback completed 22-of-31 passes for 235 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions, adding another six yards on the ground. Running back Jaylen Warren was a big part of that, tallying six catches for 87 yards and a score, while adding 101 rushing yards and a touchdown.
And with his performance against Indianapolis, Rodgers joins a Steelers legend in team history.
With three touchdown passes against the Colts, Rodgers recorded his third consecutive game with three or more touchdowns. The quarterback recorded 292 yards, three touchdowns and an interception through the air in the Week 3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, before notching 299 yards, three touchdowns and two picks in the Week 4 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
In doing so, Rodgers now becomes the first quarterback since Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw to record three or more touchdown passes in three straight games. The four-time Super Bowl champion achieved this feat in the first three weeks of the 1982 season, tallying three touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys, Bengals and Houston Oilers, all wins.
The Steelers took notice of Rodgers’ latest milestone, and on Monday, they shared his achievement with a post on social media.
“On Sunday, Aaron Rodgers became the first QB to throw for 3 TD passes in 3 consecutive weeks within a season in team history since Terry Bradshaw completed the feat in 1982,” the Steelers wrote on X.
