The Pittsburgh Steelers have been in a steady pursuit of free free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers. But when asked about the four-time NFL MVP, one Steelers owner had a rather head-scratching comment.
Appearing on CNBC, Steelers minority owner Thomas Tull spoke about artificial intelligence. But when the topic changed to Rodgers and his beloved Steelers, Tull remarked that the Rodgers situation is "a more complex issue than artificial intelligence."
“I’m here to talk about AI, and that’s a more complex issue than artificial intelligence,” Tull said, via PennLive.

As ridiculous as the comment sounds, NFL fans who have seen this situation with Rodgers play out before aren't all that surprised. Just about everyone is remarking about what a "drama queen" the former Jets and Packers quarterback has become:
"Aaron Rodgers makes everything complex and dramatic because he loves all the attention on him. If the Steelers know what's good for them, they'll leave that alone," one user remarked on X.
"What he’s saying is that it’s a very complicated issue and they really have no clue what’s going on with Rodgers," another suggested.
"Hopefully they’ll move on without him like every other team. That’ll make it much less complex," a third wrote.
"Aaron Rodgers is a loser. Weirdo makes everything complex," wrote a fourth.
"This is what happens when you try to get in the Aaron Rodgers business."
"Dude is waiting for a miracle to get him to Minneapolis. I personally want it because it's the dragon that has tormented my fandom. Need to break that loop, and establish the new order!"
Aaron Rodgers had two rough years with the New York Jets. He was limited to only a handful of snaps in his first season and was downright awful for most of the second season.
But the Steelers need a starting quarterback after letting both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields walk in free agency. There's little denying that even with his recent history he'd be a possible upgrade over those two.
Will Rodgers be a real upgrade for the Steelers at quarterback, or is he primed to become a bigger problem than a solution?
