Steelers Practice Report: OT Shakeup, Fields Changes, Freiermuth Breakout?
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he wasn’t particularly concerned with where his offensive tackles lined up to start the team’s 2024 Organized Team Activities at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he fulfilled that promise, as Broderick Jones flipped between the left and the right side, and Troy Fautanu said that he expects to do the same at point in the future, as well.

Nate Herbig is settling in as the No. 1 center for now, but he said he’s just taking it day-by-day with second-round pick Zach Frazier waiting in the wings at that position. Quarterback Justin Fields talked with Nick Farabaugh about the mechanical adjustment that new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is letting him implement. Pat Freiermuth talked about taking on the Kyle Pitts role in Smith’s offense, which could have the Penn State product in line for a breakout year, if he can put the injury woes of 2023 behind him.
