Aaron Rodgers has had one of the greatest careers a quarterback has ever had in the history of the NFL. Rodgers, who is now in his 21st season in the league and his first with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has completed 65.2% of his passes in his career for 64,441 yards and 519 touchdowns with 121 interceptions.

The 41-year-old is a 10-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time First Team All-Pro selection, four-time AP NFL MVP and he has won a Super Bowl title.

His most notable seasons in the league came during his 18-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers. While with the Packers, Rodgers was blessed with several incredible wide receivers to throw the ball to. This includes guys like Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson.

Another wideout who was one of Rodgers' top targets while playing together was Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

The pair spent four years together in Green Bay from 2018 to 2021. During this time, Valdes-Scantling caught 123 passes for 2,153 yards and 13 touchdowns. Rodgers and his receiver led the Packers to three NFC North division titles.

On Monday, the Steelers' quarterback received some exciting news regarding his former teammate.

ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler posted on Monday that the Steelers are expecting to sign Valdes-Scantling, who is currently a free agent.

"Free agent receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling plans to sign with the Steelers, per source," Fowler wrote. "Reuniting with Aaron Rodgers from their Green Bay days."

Valdes-Scantling began this season with the San Francisco 49ers, where he played five games before being released earlier this month. In his career, the 31-year-old has spent time with five different franchises, including winning two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Since being selected by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the St. Petersburg, Florida, native has 209 receptions for 3,606 yards and 20 touchdowns.

If Valdes-Scantling is available to play by this weekend, he and Rodgers will reunite when the Steelers (4-3) face the Indianapolis Colts (7-1) on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
