Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris was listed as questionable to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, but the team removed all doubt about his status Saturday by removing him from the injury report entirely.
Harris, 23, suffered an elbow injury in the Steelers' regular season finale against the Baltimore Ravens and did not practice Wednesday and Thursday. While he returned to practice fully Friday, Harris didn't reveal anything about the nature of his injury or his chances of playing Sunday.
The Steelers' rookie running back finished the regular season with 1,200 rushing yards, 467 receiving yards, and 10 total touchdowns. His contributions could be especially important against Kansas City, as the Chiefs finished the 2021 season with the second most yards allowed per rushing attempt.
Pittsburgh earned a spot in the postseason thanks to an overtime victory against the Ravens, a shocking upset victory for the Jacksonville Jaguars over the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly avoiding a tie with the Los Angeles Chargers.
