The Pittsburgh Steelers might have walked out of sin city with their heads held high, but they didnt take everything they wanted from the Las Vegas Raiders

That's because Davante Adams, as of publication, is still a member of the black and silver, opposed to the black and gold.

But after watching what happened on Sunday, he may have to reconsider the latest rumor surrounding his status.

Davante Adams to stay in Vegas?

"There is not a stong trade market right now," ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Sunday NFL Countdown. "I think the Raiders would still like to trade him, but the fact of the matter is, Davante Adams does like playing with Aidan O'Connell. This is very unsettled, there are a lot of ways this thing could go, we'll see how it shakes out."

Well, in his first start of the year, O'Connell played solid, going 27/40 for 227 yards, 1 TD, and 1 interception, with a 79.9 QB rating. That's nothing to sneeze at against the Steelers' defense, but the Raiders are now 2-4, and the Steelers are 4-2.

And sure, the trade market has not been as robust as Vegas has liked. Pittsburgh is surely a part of that as GM Omar Khan tends to drive a hard bargain, something Steelers fans know all to well with San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk.

The situation (stop me if you heard this one before) is being described as fluid, with no one knowing if Adams is coming or going. So on Saturday night, maybe he was considering staying in Vegas, but on Sunday night, he might want to pack up and get out of town again.

Pittsburgh is not keeping their recruitment of Adams very quiet, with RB Cordarrelle Patterson actively tweeting at Adams shortly after the game:

Now it has to be noted that when the trade talks were at their hottest, the Steelers were second or third fiddle at best, with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints as Adams' preferred destinations due to his familiarity with QBs Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr respectively.

But in short order, the Jets fired their HC, and could be 2-4 if they fall to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, while the Saints have dropped four in a row and are without Derek Carr who's injured.

So it seems like the ball is once again in Omar Khan's court. We'll see if he can score this time.
